Favorite Brands For Jeans

Hi all!  If you asked me what clothing item I’m most likely to be wearing on the daily it would be jeans.  Whether it be a good jacket or pair of pants, I think most would agree that a solid jean collection should be a staple for everyones closet.  I wanted to share some of my favorite brands that I find work best for me and hopefully this guide will help you if you’re on the hunt for a good pair of jeans, but don’t know where to start!

Levis

I would have to say that Levis have quickly become my favorite and most worn jeans in my closet.  I have a couple pair that I wear constantly over everything else.  I’ve found that these jeans are very flattering, however they don’t have a ton of stretch to them when it comes to the fabric.  I also love their faux-fur lined denim jackets for both men and women.  If you’re looking for a good heavy-weight denim jacket I’ve linked it here on sale!

Urban Outfitters

This store is such a solid spot to find a good pair of high-waisted jeans.  I own several from here that are also quite flattering, but give a little bit more movement than Levis do.

Zara

This is another favorite of mine for the variety in styles that they have along with a price point that can’t be beat.

Free People

I just recently bought a pair of jeans that are Free People and I love them!  I did get them on an enormous sale which makes it even better.  The pair I got are semi-high waisted with the perfect amount of stretch and comfiness that I wish every jean had.

I could not find these exact shoes in this color anywhere, however I did find the same exact style here in a ton of other colors.  Nordstrom has them on major sale right now!

MIDI Skirt Trends

Good morning! One of my favorite ways to help transition from the cooler months into Spring is by wearing mid-length skirts and dresses. There are lots of ways that a midi skirt can be worn wrong and come off looking a little bit frumpy, but they can be really cute when done the right way.

For me, the most important part is picking the right shoes to go with it. I’m on the shorter side, so if I’m going to wear a skirt that hits below my knees I tend to wear shoes that have at least a bit of a heel to them.

I’ve also found that a skirt that either has some sort of slit in it or one that’s higher in front is most flattering for my body type. It’s all about trying things on and finding what fits your structure best. Also, don’t be afraid to mix styles. Just because you’re wearing a skirt doesn’t mean that your top has to be dressy as well. I love mixing it up with a t-shirt or edgy jacket on top.

Below are a list of brands that I’ve found a bunch of cute midi skirts from!

Jacket Happy

The older I get and the more often I find myself cleaning out my closet it has become more and more apparent to me how important it is to have solid staple pieces in my wardrobe. Jackets are one of those items of clothing that can really tie and outfit together, so I wanted to share some of my favorite jacket styles with you that I wear constantly.

More often than any other style, I find myself reaching for a leather jacket. It’s great that there are so many different styles and places to find them, all without having to break the bank. Thrift stores are a great place to find jackets like these because often times the more worn in they look, the better. A good leather jacket can go with almost anything. I’ve linked below a few of my favorite jackets that I own, as well as some of the best places to find them.

The black jacket I’m wearing in the photos above is one of my favorite most recent finds. I’ve linked the exact one below and it is still on sale!

My Favorite Booties

SHOES! One of my favorite accessories and something that I get asked about most often. The style of shoes I find myself wearing more often than not are booties. What I love most about them is that they can be worn year round no matter where you are and no matter what your style is. Booties can be really casual or worn with a dressier outfit that still adds a level of comfort to it. I get asked a lot what brand and where I get my shoes so I wanted to share some of the best ones that I own and wear all the time. The ones I’m wearing below are my all time favorite. They’ve got a little bit of a heel, but are low enough to be comfortable walking around for a long period of time in. You can find all of the booties I’ve linked below by clicking on the images!

Wrap Dress It Up

There’s nothing better than an outfit that’s effortless, yet still looks like you made an effort. One of my absolute favorite fashion trends for Summer is the wrap dress. There’s a ton of reasons why they’re such a great option for the Summertime. One of them being comfort level. I love a good jean short, but when the weather is as hot as it has been here in LA I definitely prefer something soft and flowy. It’s also nice that they are basically adjustable in size.

They’re the perfect option for a beach or pool day. The one I’m wearing in the photos below is a bit more formal, so I’m thinking that I’ll save it for a wedding or special occasion. I’ve seen so many different styles of wrap dress that range from very casual all the way to formal wear and I love them all!

What I like most about this particular dress is that it’s one of a kind because my mom made it! This was her first attempt at making a dress like this and it turned out perfectly. Don’t worry, if you don’t have a mom who’s as talented of a seamstress as mine…I got you. I’ve linked some of my favorite brands below that carry wrap dresses that I love. If you’re in need of a one of a kind of your own, shoot me an email and maybe we can make it happen!
